Music

I play the Tenor-Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar. I am also a passionate singer. I like, play and listen to all kinds of music that touches me, but on stage I mainly play with my three bands:

The Irish-Folk duo STOUT, with which I play gigs in and out of Germanny since 2014 a year and that is enjoying ever increasing popularity.

In the band Wüstenberg in which I support Franz Wüstenberg’s songs with my Banjo, Mandolin and vocals. We are a 7-piece big band and the motto is folk-rock. Here, also there are multiple influences, but it always stays danceable and catchy.

And the bluegrass-/heavy-metal/whatever-comes-to-our-minds accoustic band HeavyGrass. We do have our roots in heavy metal and folk but mix many styles. Best is you give it a listen below and on our site.

Apart from that I always like to play in any project that wants me to join and that I enjoy being in. Examples are Crosswind, Birlinn, etc.

But I also always enjoy being a session or studio musician for whatever project fitting me (and that I fit into). Examples here are Sebastian Landwehr or Crosswind also.
