The electric guitar was my first instrument. When I began making music, my passion for rock and metal of all variations also developed (and is still strong alongside folk music!).
With my former Band Whorizon I played for 11 years. In this time I gained my spurs both playing-wise and as a stage performer. Even though I don’t play the electric guitar on stage at the moment, I still enjoy playing it for myself very much.
On the electric guitar as well I want to make and teach music as technically and stylistically diverse as possible. I offer many of the countless techniques as content for lessons:
Chords, melody- and solo-playing, alternate picking, vibrato, bendings, legato, tapping, sweeping, specifics of different sounds, use of effects, improvisation, songwriting, etc, etc.
I use all of this in my own playing and am happy to offer it as lesson content on the electric guitar as well.
Beginning with the basic techniques we can, depending on your interests, move on to various styles and playing techniques. In doing so we can develop all the freedom you want to have while making music. If asked for, everything can of course be underpinned with music theory.
Although my focus on the electric guitar lies on metal, I’m completely open stylistically.
